A Glimpse Into a Life Series: Ivey Lloyd Mitchell

Former Child Actress

Ivey loves nature, particularly running water. One of her favorite books is Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. She has six children, and lives in Utah.

Please enjoy the third installment in a "glimpse into a life series" highlighting former child actress Ivey Lloyd Mitchell. One of Mitchell's most well known films is that of a childhood favorite of mine, Rigoleto, which tells the story of a young girl who warms the heart of a deformed man under a curse by her tender and innocent spirit.

Thank you, Ivey, for sharing part of your afternoon with me! Let me know when you have listened to "Both Sides Now." :)

A Glimpse Into a Life Series: Mary Fahl

Singer and Songwriter

It is such a gift to just sit down with someone and hear his or her thoughts on life topics. It is a blessing to just provide a space for an individual to share part of  his or her life story.

Please enjoy the second installment in a "glimpse into a life series" highlighting Mary Fahl, singer and songwriter. Fahl's most well known work is that of her song "Going Home" for the feature film Gods and Generals.

Thank you, Mary, for sharing with me about your childhood, your music, and your historic home in Easton, Pennsylvania!

A Glimpse Into a Life Series: Lisa Kelly

Formerly of Celtic Woman & Founder of The Lisa Kelly Voice Academy

I have been blessed by God over the years to interview numerous individuals to hear their life stories and to grow in my understanding of different cultures and backgrounds. I am thrilled to be able to begin this "glimpse into a life" series this summer highlighting various individuals who are or have worked in the entertainment and arts world.

It is my hope that this series can be a means of encouragement to readers as they learn about other humans talk about their childhood, life struggles, cherished memories, and just random topics that come up in life.

I also hope that those interviewed feel valued as they share their stories and get a bit of a reprieve from the barrage of fan questions and expectations. Hopefully, it is a time where they can just enjoy being themselves.

May all of it bring glory to God.

Please enjoy the first installment in a "glimpse into a life series" highlighting Lisa Kelly, who performed with Celtic Woman for over a decade and now operates her own voice academy teaching over a hundred students from all over the world. A huge thank you to Lisa for taking the time to meet with me!
